Alexfri Planez Indians OF prospect
FA rights to Yasiel Puig OF FA
New York sends:
Mitch Garver C MIN 20-22: $0.5m
Both 3rd round picks in 2020 MiLB draft
6th round pick in 2020 MiLB draft
ATLANTA LOGIC: I like to carry a minimum of three catchers, and thus have been looking at acquiring another one (especially with Nola having lost his C eligibility SMH). Knowing that Chris is a Texas Rangers uber-fan, I felt this was an opportunity to work out something mutually beneficial (especially with him hounding me about Calhoun LOL). I love Garver's power, hate having to give up Calhoun, but as the old adage goes "you gotta give to get." Great smooth talks with Chris.
