Smooth negotiations between Chris and I in our first deal together. This is a lot of talent going both ways but in the end I’m trying to make a sustainable winner and Eloy pairs great with Soto in my OF for a while. I am bummed to give up Lewis since he was my first draft pick in the league and I’m a big believer. Karinchak and Oliva are great prospects who had excellent 2019 campaigns. We settled on a 5th rounder but I didn’t have one so we moved that to a 4th with a 9th coming back to compromise. Pleasure working with Chris and best of luck in the league—he’s off to a strong start.
