Pleasure working with Jake as always. This deal was consummated quickly with some back and forth. Marte will help me compete over the next couple of seasons with all around production. Margot and Brinson could be that and more, but I opted for more of a sure producer given my competitive window. The exchange of picks and claims balances some of the youth and contract differences. Always great to team up with Jake and wish him the best of luck.

Agreed. Basabe and Zeuch were highlights of the deal. I think Basabe can equal the production of Marte down the road, but more in line with my window of contention. Always been a fan of Zeuch and think he also lines up with my window once his $ kicks in. Two 4th round picks made 5.13 expendable for me.
