Rece Hinds, 3B (CIN) - Prospect
Trejyn Fletcher, OF (STL) - Prospect
Jake Bauers, LF (CLE) - 21: $0.5M, 22: $0.5M
MINNESOTA LOGIC: This trade supplies me with more depth. Hinds and Fletcher are far away from the majors and will need a lot of time to develop, but their upsides intrigue me. Dunshee was tough to move because I especially like him in Oakland's system, but I felt like I had the pitching depth to make the move. The Griffin Conine era with the Minnesota Mets is over already - I like how he is close to the Majors but I figured that it made sense to roll the dice on Hinds and Fletcher. Bauers is the ultimate drat throw. He has been disappointing for a while now, but I am hopeful that he earns a starting role or gets traded somewherethat he can. Not sure of his out look with the Minnesota Mets longterm, but I figure it is worth a shot.
