MINNESOTA LOGIC: I saw that Drew put Monte on the block tonight so I checked in with him and we came up with this. My outfield depth is thin so Monte is a nice acquisition. I am a big fan of his power/speed combo, he just needs to get on base enough for it to matter. His defense is great so he should get time to establish himself. In return, I am sending Weathers who has climbed up rankings the past two years. Yet another great pitching prospect from San Diego's system. I was not actively shopping him but felt like OF was more of a need more me than P right now. The minors claim sealed the deal for us.

As Bailey mentioned, the power/speed combo with Harrison is tantalizing. I'm just not sure that he'll hit enough to make it matter. If he does, I'll regret this deal. Weathers is a bit safer in my opinion, and I think he ends up as a solid starter. I'm also big on minors claims, so that helped get this one to the finish line. Good dealing with Bailey!
