Mark and I started chatting after posting our trade blocks. I really like having one top tier catcher that I can count on in a 2-catcher league, so giving up the depth and paying the salary that I did makes sense for me. With Tucker's control, he'll be a huge asset for Mark if he breaks out. Nice deal with Mark!

Detroit Cubs approve trade. I like Tucker as a good bench bat who is still young enough to develop into more. Joely Rodriguez is an intriguing RP with upside. I’m looking to add young minor talent so picking up another draft asset with a fourth-round pick made sense.
