Mark reached out to me about this deal last week. Took me a little while to formulate and counter. He was originally looking for a 2nd round pick this year but I don't have one to offer. So I offered him next year's 2nd round pick and added a 6th rounder this year. That got it done. I realize both major leaguers are coming to me with only 2021 control, but that fits into our plan for this season. Rodriguez could be a sleeper out of the Texas bullpen this year too if healthy.
