to Detroit Cubs for:
Brad Boxberger P MIL 22: 500K
Taylor Ward OF LAA 22-23: 600K
Jason and I started talking about Hendricks and relievers a little while back and swung back around today to finalize a deal. RP is my biggest need, and Boxberger is a steady presence on a team that should stack up some holds. Ward had a nice end to last year, and I'll hope that he can roll it over and be a decent bat. My starting pitching has been solid, so moving Hendricks made sense. Nice chatting with Jason, as always.
