Atlanta sends:

Joe Barlow P TEX 22-25: $0.5m
Devin Mann Dodgers 2B prospect
Spencer Horwitz Jays 1B/OF prospect

Detroit sends:

Jose Abreu 1B CWS 22: $14m, 23: $19.5m

ATLANTA LOGIC:  My batting is horrible.  I need to add a big bag, and I'm hoping that Abreu continues his hot trending as of late.  Nice talks with Jason, as always.

Detroit agrees to this trade. While I really like Abreu the contact was a little bigger then I like and I have other options at 1b. So getting a good closer on a Rookie contact is huge for me. The prospects closed the gap nicely. Good Luck Brent
