I had to take the prospect from the Slovak Republic, as that's just down the road from me. The Slovak Republic trails the Dominican Republic when it comes to producing MLB players (only 2 Slovaks ever, and 110 Dominicans on 2020 opening day rosters). It's definitely more into hockey and soccer; apparently his parents didn't really know baseball was a thing when he first signed up. Anyhow, it's a weird backstory, and he has a decent spin rate.
