This trade came together rather quickly when Brandon responded to my "catcher needed" post. Maldonado made the most sense due to playing time/contract. He'll just be serviceable enough to getting me decent stats at the catcher position. Wife beater Derek Norris getting cut really started this catcher search. Good talks with Brandon and I hope Aguilar continues to play well.

Brewers agree. I have a lot of catchers and was able to match up with Tripp. Aguilar has been more than serviceable this season and gives me a warm
body at first base for the near future (most of my prospects are further away) Norris was included to offset the salaries but probably won't be long for the roster. Great working with Tripp on this. Super easy talks.
